Voting Open | Community Impact Program

Voting for the second round of our Community Impact Program is open now! Voting will remain open until 11:59 PM on Friday, February 25. Cast your vote now to help decide which non-profit will receive a no-cost website and web hosting services for a period of one year.

Applicants

Handicapped Organization Promoting Equality (HOPE):

"We need a full-featured cross-platform presence to promote our organization and the services we offer. As a registered charity, we cannot afford the cost of engaging a paid consultant to complete this task. At this time there is no one, either volunteer or staff who can take on such a project and it has been identified as an important component of our 5-year strategic plan which is currently under development."

Yarmouth Life Skills for Disabled Adults:

"2022 marks 15 years of existence in Yarmouth and we still hear, “you are the best-kept secret in Yarmouth”. We need visibility!!!"

Lakeview Academy:

"We are a non-profit elementary school with preprimary to grade 5. We have a well-rounded learning program. Students will love this structured and nurturing education atmosphere as it includes academic stimulation, small class sizes, fun, and interaction with students from all grade levels at Lakeview Academy."

Canning & Area Foodbank:

"First off thank you for offering your services in aid of non-profits & their clientele.

Our current web presence is limited to Facebook & Instagram which can be perceived as both dated and/or specialized tech by our demographic. A website would make our Foodbank both easily findable via search engines & allow us to provide a single comprehensive access point to services to an ever-increasing number of those in need."

Canadian Blk Women in Excellence Society:

"If we were granted the opportunity to be able to have a website, we would be able to engage with our communities on a broader scope. This would allow us to continue to educate, support, and empower black women entrepreneurs through updates and resources at just a click of a button."

About the Program

The Boostflow Community Impact Program is an initiative that seeks to support organizations whose work focuses on creating lasting impacts in their communities. Through this program, our team works with non-profits across Nova Scotia to develop zero-cost websites to help them bring in more donations and expand their reach.

Each quarter, we create a poll that contains all of the organizations that have applied to the Community Impact Program for that period. The winning organization will receive free web design services and covered hosting, domain, and email fees for a period of one year.

We doubled up the prizes for the first round of the program, creating websites for both Peer Outreach Support Services & Education (POSSE) and The Yarmouth Splash Park. We're looking forward to connecting with more non-profits throughout the coming year to help them better connect with their audience.
