UniVenture Study | New Website Launch

We're excited to announce the launch of an all-new website for the UniVenutre Study!

UniVenture is a five-year, multi-site study designed to help undergraduate students learn how to channel their unique personalities toward achieving their goals and manage challenging situations that may arise in university life.

The goal is to implement a psychosocial intervention to promote the well-being of students and reduce substance abuse within Canadian universities. The program is heavily inspired by an existing and internationally recognized program called PreVenture.

The workshops are available to any first or second-year university student between the ages of 18-25 attending one of the five partner university sites. These universities include Dalhousie University, St. Francis Xavier University, Université de Montréal, York University, and The University of British Columbia Okanagan.

"Participation in this study will assist researchers in evaluating the success the UniVenture Study has on studentsʼ academic achievement, mental health and reducing substance-related harm. UniVenture may impact university policies significantly by helping partners appreciate the effectiveness of a targeted and personalized program. A successful program for at-risk students will also profoundly impact their academic performance, goal achievement and lives beyond university."

Visit the new website to learn more about the UniVenutre Study including how to participate, read the latest research and findings, and much more!
