3 Years of Boostflow | Project Highlights

This month at Boostflow we're celebrating the third anniversary of our inception. In 2018, we set out with the goal of creating meaningful change in the way customers interact with businesses online in rural Nova Scotia. Since then, we've grown from a lean bootstrap to a web design agency serving clients across Canada. We've built strong relationships with business owners and their teams to integrate features that not only increase revenue but also improve productivity and customer loyalty.

The Style Merchant of Hawthorne Street

The Style Merchant of Hawthorne Street

Our relationship with The Style Merchant of Hawthorne Street started with designing a stunning new website in 2019. Since then, we've worked with the team to expand and grow the website in a multitude of ways, including the addition of e-commerce stores for both the clothing boutique and salon products. Additionally, we trained their team to manage and run a consistent blog and e-newsletter in-house. With these tools, they're now able to consistently and cost-effectively reach their most loyal audience with their most important messages.



Jake's Family Restaurant

Jake's Family Restaurant

Shortly after the start of the COVID-19 pandemic and the regulations that followed, we started working with the team at Jake's Family Restaurant to implement online ordering for their business. We developed a new website that served as the base of the platform, with their entire menu of local favourites available for purchase for both pick-up and delivery through the website. Since launching the new site in mid-2020 it's facilitated thousands of orders, keeping our community fed throughout the pandemic.



Heritage Brewing Co.

Heritage Brewing Co

We launched a brand new, completely redesigned website for Heritage Brewing Co. in late 2020. At the time, the time was struggling with ongoing COVID-19 regulations and finding ways to continue to serve their loyal client base. We helped by integrating features like online ordering for curbside pickup and deliveries in the Tri-Counties. We also integrated a calendar and trained the team on how to keep things up to date to spread their word about their many events.



Milk & Honey Salon & Spa

Milk & Honey Salon & Spa

Our team worked very closely with Milk & Honey Salon & Spa on the entire digital presence launch for the new business. Things started with the branding, social and website which launched in late 2020, followed by an online store for the salon's retail products which followed in mid-2021. Since its launch, the salon and spa's website has received thousands of bookings for its many services.



Honey Bee's Deli & Ice Cream Parlour

Honey Bee's Deli & Ice Cream Parlour

We worked with the team at Honey Bee's Deli & Ice Cream Parlour to develop an all-new website with online ordering capabilities in mid-2020. Initially, Honey Bee's offered ice cream cakes and cupcakes through the platform. With the deli addition that followed that year, we worked closely with the team to integrate the required hardware and software to successfully run the complex restaurant. Honey Bee's new deli has seen great success since launching and has quickly become a staple in the community.



Robin Hoodies

Robin Hoodies

We started our relationship with Robin Hoodies in 2019, working with the team to launch their website, online store and social media channels in early 2020. We had a great time helping the team get their digital presence established and assisting with ongoing efforts to continue growth. Since launch, Robin Hoodies has expanded their offering into multiple product lines that are shipping across the country.



Next Gen Soil/Growing Green Earthworm Castings

Next Gen Soil

We began working with Next Gen Soil in 2018, starting with a branding refresh for their Growing Green Earthworm Castings line and a brand new, modern website with an emphasis on search engine optimization. After establishing a high amount of monthly users on the new website organically, we worked with the team to implement an e-commerce store that ships their popular Kryptonite soil and merchandise across the country. Additionally, we helped the team develop and implement a consistent e-newsletter and generate thousands of subscribers.



Website Bootcamp Program

Website Bootcamp Program

In 2020 and 2021, our team facilitated the Website Bootcamp Program in partnership with Tourism Nova Scotia and Digital Nova Scotia. Through a series of live workshops that we created, our team worked with tourism businesses directly to help them develop modern, feature-rich websites to drive their businesses online. The program saw participants from a large variety of industries from across the province, including restaurants, accommodations, tour and experience providers and more. In all, over 15 tourism businesses from across the province have completed the program and are now utilizing their new websites. Learn more about the program at Boostflow Academy.



The Yarmouth Market

The Yarmouth Market

The Yarmouth Market is a community platform developed by our team and launched in 2021. It serves as an online shopping hub for the local area with the ability to browse businesses that offer online features whether it be online ordering for restaurants, accommodation rentals, service bookings, e-commerce stores and more. Since launch, we've used The Yarmouth Market to promote Yarmouth's vibrant business community during these challenging times.

As we head into year four, our goal continues to remain the same. We feel that we have contributed to facilitating real change in our digital landscape over the last three years, and we couldn't be more excited about the new partnerships we have yet to make.
